Since the beginning of time, life on earth has evolved immersed in a vast field of natural electromagnetic frequencies. All biological systems are tuned in and operate at those Extremely Low Frequencies (ELFs) between 1-30 Hz. Our bodies are receivers, generators and transmitters of electromagnetic energy themselves. The health of any living organism, ranging upward from the DNA in our cells, depends on good electromagnetic communication internally, as well as with the external environment. When this subtle communication gets interrupted a biological stress response sets in.
Unfortunately, with the steady rollout of smart technologies, wireless devices and 5G mobile networks, the electromagnetic environment which we have all lived and thrived within for hundreds of millions of years is getting increasingly flooded by waves of frequencies with unnatural intensities, densities, signals and pulse wave patterns that do not exist in nature and no living species have ever experienced before.
Thousands of peer reviewed scientific studies have linked prolonged EMF exposure to a long list of negative health outcomes.
I detect and assess the following sources of artificial EMF radiation:
Radio Frequency (RF) / Wireless Radiation
Include all modern wireless signal transmission systems such as AM / FM digital radio, television, radar, mobile phone masts, mobile and cordless phones, WiFi and Bluetooth enabled devices, and many other “smart” technologies. The RF range is extremely high (from 3 kHz to 300 GHz) and therefore especially damaging to our biology.
AC Electric Fields
Are created by voltage present in the electrical system of a building, either in the wiring or in power cables and can be present even without a current flow, i.e. a device switched on. High electric fields in the bedroom induce voltage on the body (constant low level electric shocks) and severely diminishing sleep quality and general health and vitality over time.
AC Magnetic Fields
Are produced by electrical current running through a wire, metal, appliance or the ground. High magnetic fields can pose serious health risks and are often caused by electric power lines, faulty wiring, stray current travelling on water and gas pipes, and improper grounding systems. They are difficult to shield, as they penetrate most material unaffected.
EMI or ‘Dirty Electricity’
Refers to electric power that has become corrupted. Modern appliances such as air conditioning, solar panel inverters, CFL & LED light bulbs, dimmer switches and electronic items with switch mode power supplies create additional frequencies onto our 50 or 60 Hz electrical wiring that radiate into the living space and are extremely harmful to biological systems.
Why I also measure body voltage?
Air measurements can provide me with important preliminary information about the general environment we live and work in. However, since our bodies act themselves as an antenna, only the values obtained from body measurements can tell me with certainty how much electro-stress my clients are absorbing in certain places and if my mitigation and shielding solutions really work.
In my electromagnetic radiation assessments I use highly sensitive, state-of-the-art instruments to detect and measure any harmful sources and intensities of “electrosmog” from high frequency wireless technologies or low frequency electric fields that might exist in your environment.
This is especially important in the bedroom where many of our vital healing processes take place during the night. Here, my goal is to create a Sleep Sanctuary with EMF levels as close to zero as possible.

EMF safety guidelines vary greatly around the world. Many government regulations and safety guidelines in effect today are still based on long outdated studies that primarily focused on the effects of thermal radiation (i.e. ionising radiation) on the human body. However, non-ionizing radiation (NIR) from low level EMF absorption increased dramatically in the last few decades. In 2011, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), a sub-organisation of the WHO, classified Radio Frequency Electromagnetic Fields as “possibly carcinogenic” (Group 2B) to humans. Since then, a growing body of high-quality, peer-reviewed scientific studies have shown the detrimental bio-physiological effects of electromagnetic exposure on all living organisms. Many countries are now taking protective actions.

Ways to minimise EMF exposure
- Use less wifi connections. Connect your lap/desktop via ethernet cable or at least switch off your router at night.
- Avoid Bluetooth headsets. They emit high amounts of radiation. Use Airtube headsets instead.
- Keep your mobile phone away from your body. Don’t sleep next to it at night. Distance is your friend.
- Keep the bedroom free from electronics. Replace your plugin digital alarm clock with a simple analog battery operated one.
- Avoid metal bed frames / head boards and spring mattresses as they are huge conductors of electricity.
- Reposition the bedroom in your house to get distance from cell phone masts, external power lines, smart meters & meter boxes.
- Avoid microwaves for cooking. It not only changes the molecular structure of your food but also emits extremely harmful radiation.
- Avoid CFL (compact fluorescent light) bulbs if possible, and get rid of dimmer switches. Both produce significant amounts of dirty electricity.

Protect your children
Children are significantly more vulnerable to high-frequency wireless radiation from sources such as WiFi routers, mobile phones, tablets, laptops etc than adults.
Their brains are smaller, their skulls are thinner, their nervous system is still developing and their blood-brain barrier is more permeable, making their brains more susceptible to any toxins and free-radicals in the bloodstream.
Many countries around the world have already taken protective action to reduce children’s exposure to wireless radiation by issuing informative leaflets, introducing stricter regulations or even banning the use of WiFi from their kindergartens and schools.
